In 2004, Faraidoon received his MEE from the University of Houston. Before moving into oil and gas in 2007, he designed and worked on motor controllers for medical equipment. He designed and implemented SafetySub for several tractor companies. For logging tools such as GPT, he worked with wireline telemetry consisting of monocables and multiconductor cables. From an idea to a profitable business, he designed and developed the ControlFire switch under Hunting. Faraidoon holds extensive knowledge of high-temperature electronics, analogue electronics, and strong embedded system firmware. A practical business acumen developed from a family tradition of watch retailing dating back to 1909.
